Fish School Flipgrid

At the beginning of this month, I collaborated with Flipgrid to launch Fish School, a grid based on my research as a graduate student on Oncorhynchus mykiss life histories and more generally on fisheries science. Students were able to watch videos from Mokelumne River Hatchery and learn about steelhead and rainbow trout in the Field Notes section of the grid and ask me questions in the Q&A. We were able to get over 3700 views and participation hours have climbed to almost 38 hours!

Thank you to everyone for participating, I enjoyed working with you and hearing your thoughts on the fascinating O. mykiss!

Q&A allows students to directly connect

After how excited kids were to ask questions on the Nature grid in Panama, I decided to include the Q & A again in Fish School
